The symbols for each mathematical expression:

Algorithm is a sequence of steps that perform a certain task.

Iterations are loops - like for loops and while loops - that repeat and perform a task.

Index is a number representing a position, like a character’s position in a string or a string’s position in a list.

Concatenation is combining two different strings.

Substring is a part of a string.

Length is the length of a string or number.

Pseudocode is writing out a program in plain language with keywords that are used to refer to common coding concepts.
